Skilder

Getting started

Connect your agent and let the Onboarding Concierge build your first role.

Connect your agent to Skilder, then hand it the job. The Onboarding Concierge does the rest: one question, one proposal, one real task delivered, in about five minutes.

  • You will build: one published role, created and run by your agent
  • Time: about 5 minutes
  • You need: a Skilder account and an MCP client (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or another)

Create your workspace

Sign up at app.skilder.ai and answer the short question on the creation screen. Skilder provisions the workspace in the background while you do.

You land on Home. In the sidebar, open Roles: the org chart shows a General team, the default team every workspace starts with. Teams start folded, so click the chevron on General to show the Onboarding Concierge, the role that runs your first session.

Connect your agent

Connect your agent to Skilder over MCP. Most clients ask for a one-time sign-in; there is nothing to authorize from inside Skilder itself.

Ask it to get started

In your client, run the Skilder: get started prompt (/get-started in a client that lists MCP prompts as slash commands, or just ask your agent to get you started with Skilder).

Your agent loads the Onboarding Concierge. It asks what your job is and what fills most of your week, then proposes a role and a first task built around your answer.

Say go

Approve the proposal. The Concierge creates the role and its skills, runs the first task through it, and hands you the result in the same conversation.

Check it worked

The new role appears under Roles, already Published. In Skilder, open Activity: the Sessions and Call Log tabs show the run you just triggered.

Run it again

The Onboarding Concierge is not a demo to delete. Run /get-started again any time you want another role built, from a different angle or building on what already exists. Anyone who joins your workspace later gets the same first session.

For other ideas, go back to Home. The Ask your agent band rotates example prompts, and Copy task puts the one on screen on your clipboard, ready to paste into your agent.
